We are the Johnstown Student Council for 2024-25. We are comprised of representatives, from 4th, 5th, and 6th Classes, including The Meadow. 

The Johnstown GNS Student Council elections took place on September 25th 2024. Each nominee had to fill out a nomination form and make a speech in order for their name to be entered on the ballot paper. Polling clerks were in place and all children from 4th-6th voted in the election which took place in the polling station within the school hall. Those elected onto the student council were:
Izzy Finnie, Amelia Keegan, Sofia Woodfull, Zahra Reilly, Isabelle Moloney, 

Holly Byrne, Madison Healy Chua, Sadhbh Quinn, Keerthana Sai Gamidi, Eva Lawlor, Sarah McMullan, Saibh McKeever and Noelle Abdulhaman.

Current projects:

• The Student Council are selling Gaeilge annuals in the school.

• We are also working on a joint effort with the Boys' School Student Council to run a games room for the Christmas Fair.
